The Vitruvian Man

So why have I chosen “The Vitruvian Man” by Da Vinci as my logo, Well...... for what I hope to achieve, started in some way with this drawing.

Everyone knows about Da Vinci‘s work, but few realise just how far thinking (or spiritually aware or linked) this man was - his detailed drawings of flying machines, back in the late 1400’s must have caused many to think he was completely mad, or was he? Also his detailed drawings of human anatomy were amazing. But mostly for me this picture symbolises, that when you look at someone, there is another dimension to them, or ... more to their being than we realise.

This is true of all of us, who unconsciously wear a mask. Why do we do this? Mainly because we need to be accepted..... loved......not thought badly of. If we were true to ourselves, explored either vocally, or by any other means, we would be thought of as “different” not one of the crowd.

All who have made a difference in the world have explored who they truly are, you could say had a mission, explored their inner dreams and thoughts, not caring if they were thought of as different ..... as all of us who walk this earth truly are ......I was lucky to be in Milan at the time The Da Vinci Code was being read and discussed just about everywhere, so imagine my surprise when I was told the famous painting of the Last Supper, was just a 5 minute taxi ride away. So hailing a taxi that very minute, I was finally greeted by the longest queue ever !, When I asked someone how long the wait would be, I was told I had to book, if I was lucky maybe, just maybe, I could book for a fews days time !

It seemed that people were flying in just to look at the painting, he was still causing a stir over 500 years later.

Bless you all

Yvonne
